Technical Expert is defined in Section 24.2.2.
Technical Expert means a person who provides detailed knowledge and expertise on a specific subject matter needed for the performance of verification activities for the purposes of Chapter III and for the performance of accreditation activities for the purposes of Chapter V;

Examples of Technical Expert in a sentence
Either Party will be entitled to request at any time that the Person then designated on Exhibit A as a Technical Expert be replaced with a different Technical Expert; provided, however, that no such proposed replacement will be designated as a replacement Technical Expert unless and until approved by mutual agreement of the Parties.
If the Parties are unable to agree upon a Technical Expert to hear the Classification Objection or the Prudency Objection, as applicable, the Party Appointees shall use a mutually acceptable random process to select a Technical Expert from among the three (3) proposed Technical Experts listed on Exhibit A.
More Definitions of Technical Expert
Technical Expert means a person hired to provide specialized technical service on specific terms and conditions within a specified period of time;
Technical Expert means any individual selected in accordance with the procedure specified in Section 12.3 and who (a) has significant professional qualifications and practical experience in the subject matter of the Technical Dispute, (b) has no interest, financial or otherwise, or duty which conflicts or may conflict with such individual’s functions as a Technical Expert (such individual being required to fully disclose any such interest or duty prior to any appointment) and (c) is not currently and has not been (i) during the five (5) years prior to the date of appointment, an employee of any of the Owners or any of their Affiliates and (ii) during the three (3) years prior to the date of appointment, a contractor or consultant of either of the Owners or any of their Affiliates, unless otherwise mutually agreed by the Owners.

Technical Expert means a qualified person who provides specific technical, methodological and sectoral knowledge and/or expertise in a verification team.
Technical Expert means any individual selected in accordance with the procedure specified in this Schedule B and who (i) has professional qualifications and practical experience in the subject matter of the Technical Dispute, (ii) has no interest, financial or otherwise, or duty which conflicts or may conflict with his or her functions as a Technical Expert (such individual being required to fully disclose any such interest or duty prior to his or her appointment) and (iii) is not currently and has not been (x) during the five years prior to the date of appointment, an employee of any of the Parties or any of their Affiliates and (y) during the three years prior to the date of appointment, a contractor or consultant of either of the Parties or any of their Affiliates, unless otherwise mutually agreed by the Parties.
