Technical Expert definition

Technical Expert is defined in Section 24.2.2.
Technical Expert means a person who provides detailed knowledge and expertise on a specific subject matter needed for the performance of verification activities for the purposes of Chapter III and for the performance of accreditation activities for the purposes of Chapter V;
Technical Expert means a person hired to provide specialized technical service on specific terms and conditions within a specified period of time;

  • The determination by such Technical Expert shall be final, conclusive, binding and enforceable in any proceeding brought hereunder.

More Definitions of Technical Expert

Technical Expert shall have the meaning set forth in Section 19.2.
Technical Expert means an individual who has demonstrated technical competency in one or more of the products developed and maintained by EMI and is authorized by EMI to provide technical support the Customer.
Technical Expert means any individual selected in accordance with the procedure specified in Section 12.3 and who (a) has significant professional qualifications and practical experience in the subject matter of the Technical Dispute, (b) has no interest, financial or otherwise, or duty which conflicts or may conflict with such individual’s functions as a Technical Expert (such individual being required to fully disclose any such interest or duty prior to any appointment) and (c) is not currently and has not been (i) during the five (5) years prior to the date of appointment, an employee of any of the Owners or any of their Affiliates and (ii) during the three (3) years prior to the date of appointment, a contractor or consultant of either of the Owners or any of their Affiliates, unless otherwise mutually agreed by the Owners.

Technical Expert means any individual selected in accordance with the procedure specified in this Schedule B and who (i) has professional qualifications and practical experience in the subject matter of the Technical Dispute, (ii) has no interest, financial or otherwise, or duty which conflicts or may conflict with his or her functions as a Technical Expert (such individual being required to fully disclose any such interest or duty prior to his or her appointment) and (iii) is not currently and has not been (x) during the five years prior to the date of appointment, an employee of any of the Parties or any of their Affiliates and (y) during the three years prior to the date of appointment, a contractor or consultant of either of the Parties or any of their Affiliates, unless otherwise mutually agreed by the Parties.
Technical Expert means an individual who (i) is knowledgeable regarding the process for the decommissioning or remediation of Colstrip Units 1&2 and the proposed process for the decommissioning or remediation of the Project, (ii) has professional qualifications and practical experience in the subject matter of the Classification Objection or the Prudency Objection, (iii) has no interest, financial or otherwise, or duty that conflicts or may conflict with his or her functions as a Technical Expert (such individual being required to fully disclose any such interest or duty prior to his or her appointment), and (iv) is not currently and has not been (x) an employee of either of the Parties or any of their Affiliates during the five (5) years prior to the date of appointment or (y) unless otherwise mutually agreed by the Parties, a contractor or consultant of either of the Parties or any of their Affiliates (other than in the capacity of any such Person as Operator) during the three (3) years prior to the date of appointment.
Technical Expert means an expert appointed pursuant to paragraph 3 of Schedule 13;
