The Shire definition

The Shire means Shire of Wickepin;
The Shire means the Shire of Halls Creek and the land contained within.
The Shire means the Shire of Broome.

Examples of The Shire in a sentence

  • The Shire may terminate this agreement by giving written notice to the Funding Recipient if the Funding Recipient is in breach of this agreement or becomes Insolvent.

  • The Shire may revoke its approval of a subcontractor on reasonable grounds.

  • The Funding Recipient acknowledges that they are not an employee, agent, partner or joint venturer of The Shire.

  • The Shire reserves the right to publicise, undertake promotional activities relating to, and report on the awarding of funding to the Funding Recipient and the Funding Recipient’s carrying out of the project.

  • The Funding Recipient must, in any publicity in relation to the project approved by The Shire in this agreement, acknowledge the financial and other support provided by The Shire, in the manner set out in Schedule 5 or otherwise approved by The Shire prior to its use.

  • No compensation is payable by The Shire for termination under this clause.

  • In addition to its rights set out in clause 5.1, The Shire may, at any time and at The Shire’s absolute discretion, terminate this agreement by three months written notice to the Funding Recipient.

Related to The Shire

  • The Vessel means the vessel named in Box 5 and with particulars as stated in Boxes 6 to 12.

  • Sailboat means the same as that term is defined in Section 73-18-2.

  • Campfire means a small outdoor fire intended for recreation or cooking not including a fire intended for disposal of waste wood or refuse.

  • Leash means a leash, cord, chain, or other comparable material which must be of a gauge suitable for controlling said dog and shall not be longer than six feet.

  • Houseboat means watercraft primarily used as habitation and not used primarily as a means of transportation.
