Vertical ground control used for design surveys and construction surveys, furnished to the Surveyor by the State or based on acceptable methods conducted by the Surveyor, must meet the standards of accuracy required by the State.
Except to the extent that a specific provision of this contract states to the contrary, the State shall own all intellectual property acquired or developed under this contract and all equipment purchased by the Surveyor or its subcontractors under this contract.
While it is the State's intent to issue work authorizations under this contract, the Surveyor shall have no cause of action based on the State's failure to issue work authorizations under this contract or on the number of work authorizations issued.
If the Surveyor believes that any assigned work is beyond the scope of this contract or any work authorization issued under this contract, the Surveyor shall promptly notify the State in writing and demonstrate how the assigned work constitutes additional work.
