Three-dimensional reference system means a system as described in Appendix 2 to this annex;

Three-dimensional reference system means a coordinate system as defined by appendix 2 to Annex 1 of the Consolidated Resolution on the Construction of Vehicles (R.E.3). In this framework the longitudinal axis of the vehicle is designated the X axis, the lateral axis is the Y axis and the vertical axis is the Z axis.
