Time for Completion definition

Time for Completion means the time for completing the Works as stated in the Contract Data (or as extended under Sub-Clause 7.3), calculated from the Commencement Date.
Time for Completion means the time for completing the Works or a Section (as the case may be) as stated in the Special Conditions of Contract (with any extension calculated from the Commencement Date.
Time for Completion means the time for completing the Works or a Section (as the case may be) under Sub- Clause 8.2 [Time for Completion], as stated in the SCC (with any extension under Sub-Clause 8.4 [Extension of Time for Completion]), calculated from the Commencement Date.

Examples of Time for Completion in a sentence

  • If the Contractor fails to comply with sub-clause 8.2 [Time for Completion], the Contractor shall subject to sub-clause 2.5 [Employer's Claims] pay contractual penalties to the Employer for this default.

  • The Engineer shall proceed in accordance with Sub-Clause 3.5 [Determinations] to agree or determine (i) the extension (if any) of the Time for Completion (before or after its expiry) in accordance with Sub-Clause 8.4 [Extension of Time for Completion], and/or (ii) the additional payment (if any) to which the Contractor is entitled under the Contract.

  • Upon instructing or approving a Variation, the Engineer shall proceed in accordance with sub-clause 3.5 [Determinations] to agree or determine adjustments to the Contract Price, the payment schedule set out in Attachment C to the Particular Conditions and the Time for Completion.

  • If the Contractor considers himself to be entitled to any extension of the Time for Completion and/or any additional payment, under any Clause of these Conditions or otherwise in connection with the Contract the Contractor shall give notice to the Engineer, describing the event or circumstances giving rise to the claim together with an explanation of the basis of its claim.

  • The Works shall not be deemed completed within the Time for Completion for the Works unless the Contractor obtains all Operational Permits required under the Contract.


More Definitions of Time for Completion

Time for Completion means the time for completing the execution of and passing the Tests on Completion of the Works or any Section or part thereof as stated in the Contract (or as extended under Clause 44) calculated from the Commencement Date.
Time for Completion means the time within which Completion of the Facilities as a whole (or of a part of the Facilities where a separate Time for Completion of such part has been prescribed) is to be attained, as referred to in GCC Clause8 and in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Contract.
