Transit Service definition

Transit Service means the delivery of Transit Traffic.
Transit Service. Means the use of CenturyLink’s network to deliver Transit Traffic.
Transit Service is any traffic that originates from one (1) Telecommunications Carrier's network and/or its end user(s), transits another Telecommunications Carrier's network, and terminates to yet another Telecommunications Carrier's network and/or its end user(s). "Trouble Isolation Charge" – see "Maintenance of Service."

Examples of Transit Service in a sentence

  • Prior to introducing new or expanded Community Transit Service, or converting conventional transit service to Community Transit Service, BC Transit will consult with the Union.

  • AT&T-TSP, as the Transit Service Provider, is not obligated to pay CLEC for such Transit Traffic, and AT&T-TSP is not to be deemed as the default originator of such Transit Traffic or be considered as the default originator.

  • Transit Service terms in this Agreement are for the delivery of Transit Traffic.

  • BC Transit reserves the right to determine which services will be delivered through Community Transit Service and reserves the right to discontinue Community Transit Service.

  • Compensation for the transport and termination of Local Traffic and IntraLATA Toll Traffic shall be pursuant to this Section 4.7. Compensation for traffic that is delivered through Transit Service shall be pursuant to Section 7.3.


More Definitions of Transit Service

Transit Service means the delivery of Local Traffic, Information Access Traffic and IntraLATA Toll Traffic between CLEC and a third-party LEC or CMRS provider by CBT over the Local/IntraLATA Trunks.
Transit Service means the delivery over the Local/IntraLATA Trunks of (i) Local Traffic and IntraLATA Toll Traffic that (x) originates on Requesting Carrier’s network and terminates to a third party LEC, ILEC or CMRS (such third parties collectively referred to as a “Transit Counter-Party”) and (y) originates on the Transit Counter-Party’s network and terminates to Requesting Carrier and (ii) 800 IntraLATA Toll Traffic that originates and terminates between one (1) or more IntraLATA Telecommunications Carriers, including third party LECs, ILECs and CMRSs (collectively, “IntraLATA 800 Traffic”), as more fully described in Section 7.3.9.
Transit Service means the delivery of Local or non-Local Traffic by Sprint or CLEC, that originated on one Party’s network, transited through the other Party’s network, and terminated to a third party Telecommunications Carrier’s network.
Transit Service means the use of CenturyLink’s tandem to deliver Transit Traffic.
Transit Service means the use of Embarq’s tandem to deliver Transit Traffic.
Transit Service means the delivery of certain traffic between AT&T and a third party LEC or ILEC by GTE over the Local/IntraLATA Trunks. The following types of traffic will be delivered: (i) Local Traffic and IntraLATA Toll Traffic originated from AT&T to such third party LEC or ILEC and (ii) Local Traffic and IntraLATA Toll Traffic originated from such third party LEC or ILEC and terminated to AT&T where GTE carries such traffic pursuant to the Commission’s primary toll carrier plan or other similar plan.
Transit Service means the delivery of Transit Traffic by Sprint or KMC, that originates or terminates on one Party’s network from or to a third party Telecommunications Carrier’s network, transiting through the other Party’s network (the “transiting party”).
