Texas Transportation Commission policy mandates that employees of the Texas Department of Transportation shall not accept any benefit, gift or favor from any person doing business with or who reasonably speaking may do business with the State under this contract.
Specifically, the Engineer certifies that none of the following individuals, nor any or their family members within the second degree of affinity or consanguinity, owns 1% or more interest, or has a financial interest as defined under Texas Government Code, Section 2261.252(b), in the Engineer: any member of the Texas Transportation Commission, TxDOT’s Executive Director, General Counsel, Chief of Procurement and Field Support Operations, Director of Procurement, or Director of Contract Services.
The State will pay for only those Project costs that have been approved by the Texas Transportation Commission.
The issuance by the Company of authorized and unissued shares or reacquired shares under this Agreement is subject to the approval of the Oregon Public Utility Commission and the Washington Utilities and Transportation Commission, but no such approvals shall be required for the purchase of shares on the open market for delivery to Recipient in satisfaction of its obligations under this Agreement.
