Treatment Facilities definition

Treatment Facilities means any devices and systems used in the storage, treatment, recycling, and reclamation of municipal sewage or industrial wastes of a liquid nature to implement Section 201 of the Federal CWA, or necessary to recycle or reuse water at the most economical cost over the estimated life of the facilities, including intercepting sewers, outfall sewers, sewage collection systems, pumping, power, and other equipment, and their appurtenances; extensions, improvements, remodeling, additions, and alterations thereof; and elements essential to provide a reliable recycled supply such as standby treatment units and clear well facilities.
Treatment Facilities or “treatment works” means “treatment works” as defined in Section 1292 of Title 33 of the United States Code.
Treatment Facilities means those treatment and disposal facilities and rights used by the CDD to treat wastewater and detain, transmit, and dispose of said treated wastewater in accordance with applicable governmental and regulatory requirements.

  • Xxxxx shall have no liability for unpaid charges, if any, for the capital costs of capacity at the Treatment Facilities or other capital costs, if any, associated with expanding the CDD’s Wastewater System to serve the Vested Customers.

  • Non-domestic wastes from commercial establishments may be introduced into the CDD’s Wastewater System only upon prior written approval from the CDD based on the CDD’s determination that such non-domestic waste will not harm the Treatment Facilities.

  • Xxxxx shall deliver Wastewater through Xxxxx Collection Facilities and to the Interconnect Facilities at a pressure not less than 26 Pounds per Square Inch of fluid pressure (PSI) to enable receipt of Wastewater into the Treatment Facilities without repumping.


More Definitions of Treatment Facilities

Treatment Facilities means, at any time, a collective reference to the facilities and real properties owned, leased, managed or operated by the Borrower or any Subsidiary.
Treatment Facilities means the treatment plant defined in Article 1(z) and those facilities on the Coastal Branch relating to water treatment and water quality monitoring.
Treatment Facilities means and include all assets at CBWTF Treatment facility including the equipment, vehicles accessories database infrastructure and other materials used for operations under this agreement.

These include intercepting sewers, outfall sewers, wastewater collection systems, pumping, power and other equipment and their appurtenances; extensions, improvements, remodeling, additions and alterations thereof, elements essential to provide a reliable recycled supply such as standby treatment units and clear well facilities; and any works, including site acquisition of the land that will be an integral part of the treatment process or is used for ultimate disposal of residues resulting from such treatment (including land for composting sludge, temporary storage of such compost and land used for the storage of treated wastewater inland treatment systems before land applications); or any other method of system for preventing, abating, reducing, storing, treating, separating or disposing of municipal waste or industrial waste, including waste in a combined storm water and sanitary sewer systems.
