Unacceptable Waste definition

Unacceptable Waste means any Waste, the acceptance, and handling of which by Contractor would cause a violation of any permit, or any legal or regulatory requirement, substantial damage to Contractor's equipment or facilities, or present a danger to the health or safety of the public or Contractor's employees, including, but not limited to, Hazardous Waste, Special Waste (except as otherwise provided herein), untreated Medical Waste, Dead Animals weighing ten pounds (10 lbs.) or greater, solid or dissolved material in domestic sewage, or solid or dissolved material in irrigation return flows, or industrial discharges subject to regulation by permit, soil, dirt, rock, sand, and other natural or man-made inert solid materials used to fill land if the object of the fill is to make the land suitable for the construction of surface improvements.
Unacceptable Waste means all waste not authorized for disposal at the Columbia Ridge Landfill and Recycling Center or successor site designated by the City, by those governmental entities having jurisdiction or any waste the disposal of which would constitute a violation of any governmental requirement pertaining to the environment, health or safety. Unacceptable Waste includes any waste that is now or hereafter defined by federal law or by the disposal jurisdiction as radioactive, dangerous, hazardous or extremely hazardous waste and vehicle tires in excess of those permitted to be disposed of by the laws of the disposal jurisdiction.
Unacceptable Waste means any and all waste that is either: (a) Waste which is prohibited from disposal at a sanitary landfill by state, federal or local law, regulation, rule, code, ordinance, permit or permit condition; (b) Group III Waste, as defined in 1.5 above; (c) Hazardous Waste, as defined in 1.6 above; or (d) Special Waste, as defined in 1.7 above.

Examples of Unacceptable Waste in a sentence

  • The County shall notify the Hauler in writing by certified mail if the County adds any chemicals or other substances to the definition of Unacceptable Waste.

  • Service Provider may, in its sole discretion, reject any Unacceptable Waste.

  • The Hauler agrees not to deliver any Unacceptable Waste to the Facility.

  • If Unacceptable Waste is discovered before it is collected by Service Provider, Service Provider may refuse to collect the entire Container.

  • Provisions for Hazardous Waste, if any, and Unacceptable Waste, if any, are set forth in Section 2 below.


More Definitions of Unacceptable Waste

Unacceptable Waste has the meaning set forth in the Procedures.
Unacceptable Waste means any waste tires, radioactive, volatile, corrosive, flammable, explosive, biomedical, infectious, bio-hazardous, regulated medical or hazardous waste, toxic substance or material, as defined by, characterized, or listed under applicable federal, state, or local laws or regulations, any materials containing information protected by federal, state or local privacy and security laws or regulations (unless tendered to Company pursuant to a separate agreement), or any material the acceptance or handling of which would cause a violation of any Applicable Law, damage to Company’s equipment of facilities, or present a substantial endangerment to the health or safety of the public or Company’s employees. Title to and liability for Unacceptable Waste shall remain with the generator at all times.
Unacceptable Waste means any waste tires, radioactive, volatile, corrosive, flammable, explosive, biomedical, infectious, bio-hazardous, regulated medical or Hazardous Waste, toxic substance or material, as defined by, characterized, or listed under applicable federal, state, or local laws or regulations, any materials containing information protected by federal, state or local privacy and security laws or regulations (unless tendered to Contractor pursuant to a separate agreement), or any material the acceptance or handling of which would cause a violation of any Applicable Law, damage to Contractor’s equipment, Containers, or facilities, or present a substantial endangerment to the health or safety of the public or Contractor’s employees. Title to and liability for Unacceptable Waste shall remain with the generator at all times.
Unacceptable Waste means any material described in Exhibit A, attached to and incorporated into this Agreement, and as may be amended from time to time by the City.
Unacceptable Waste means those solid wastes which cannot be accepted for processing or disposal as defined by a facility pursuant to local, State and federal laws or permits.
Unacceptable Waste means waste not accepted at the waste site as itemized in ‘Schedule F’ to this By-law.
Unacceptable Waste means any material as described in Schedule “D” of this bylaw.
