Underbillings definition

Underbillings means the costs and estimated earnings of the Company and its Subsidiaries in excess of customer billxxxx xx uncompleted contracts.
Underbillings means, consistent with GAAP, the revenue recognized in excess of amounts paid or payable (contract receivables) to the Companies on uncompleted contracts (contract asset), excluding retainage. Underbillings may be noted on the Companies’ balance sheets as contract assets, costs and estimated earnings in excess of bxxxxxxx on uncompleted contracts and/or simply “under billings”.
