University Group definition

University Group means a group within the University Community, excluding those over which the UJC lacks jurisdiction under Article II of the UJC Constitution
University Group means an administrative or academic unit, department or center within the University.
University Group means a registered student, faculty and/or staff group or organization; an academic school, department or program; a University committee or Faculty Assembly council; or an auxiliary enterprise.

  • Such employee may receive retirement benefits and service credit only in accord with the provisions of the applicable retirement system; may continue health plan coverage at the employee's request and expense for a limited period of time as described in the University Group Insurance Regulations; and may receive vacation and sick leave accruals and holiday pay only in accordance with those articles of this Agreement.

  • Individuals may elect to continue on the University Group Insurance plans during the period of leave.

  • If the College President determines, in accordance with the provisions of this Section, that a disability exists, the employee must apply for disability benefits under the State University Group Disability Insurance Program.

More Definitions of University Group

University Group means the University and any University Successor and each entity (howsoever constituted) controlled directly or indirectly by the University or a University Successor from time to time and any entity controlled directly or indirectly by the University or any University Successor to which all or a material part of the holding of the University Group in spin-out companies or the University Group's unlisted investment portfolio is transferred (individually a "University Group Member"); University Successor means any entity (howsoever constituted) to which all or part of the University’s activities or statutory functions have been transferred or devolved or succeeding in whole or in part to the interest of the University;
University Group means a Student Organization, a University Department or program, a University committee, or an Employee group or organization.
University Group means the University and any University Successor and each entity (howsoever constituted) controlled directly or indirectly by the University or a University Successor from time to time (including the Subscriber and OCC LP) and any entity controlled directly or indirectly by the University or any University Successor to which all or a part of the holding of the University Group in spin-out companies or the University Group’s unlisted investment portfolio is transferred (individually a "member of the University Group").
University Group for purposes of this policy, means a registered student organization or a recognized employee group (an em- ployee group created to further professional development of its mem- bers or the mission of the university) of the university, and also en- compasses the individual members of these groups when acting on behalf of the group. The term also includes individuals who are currently en- rolled students or current employees.
University Group means the University and any University Successor and each entity (howsoever constituted) controlled directly or indirectly by the University or a University Successor from time to time and any entity controlled directly or indirectly by the University or any University Successor to which all or a material part of the holding of the University Group in spin-out companies or the University Group’s unlisted investment portfolio is transferred (individually a “University Group Member”); “control” being the direct or indirect ownership of more than fifty percent (50%) of the stock, shares, or interests entitled to vote on the election of directors or other governing body of the entity or otherwise having the ability to direct the management and policies of such entity.
University Group means: (i) a Recognized Student Organization (RSO); (ii) an organization whose membership is limited to University faculty or staff; (iii) an instruction- oriented group whose program has an educational objective and is under control of a department or unit for curriculum, staffing and financing; (iv) a group sponsored by the Board; and (v) a group sponsored by the Administration.
University Group for purposes of this policy, means a registered student organization or a recognized employee group (an employee group created to further pro- fessional development of its members or the mission of the university) of the university, and also encompasses the indi- vidual members of these groups when acting on behalf of the group. The term also includes individuals who are currently enrolled students or current employees.
