University research means all research and development activities that are sepa- rately budgeted and accounted for by the in- stitution under an internal application of in- stitutional funds. University research means any research conducted by a University Person: (i) involving or utilizing the facilities, equipment or financial aid (including any grant funding) provided or administered by the University; or (ii) while acting within the scope of such University Person’s duties or employment.
