U.S. Treasury Rate definition

U.S. Treasury Rate means, with respect to the Reset Date, the rate per annum equal to: (1) the average of the yields on actively traded U.S. Treasury securities adjusted to constant maturity, for one-year maturity, for the five business days immediately prior to the Reset Determination Date and appearing under the caption “Treasury constant maturities” at 5:00 p.m. (New York City time) on the Reset Determination Date in the applicable most recently published statistical release designated “H.15 Daily Update”, or any successor publication that is published by the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System that establishes yields on actively traded U.S. Treasury securities adjusted to constant maturity, under the caption “Treasury Constant Maturities”, for the maturity of one year; or (2) if such release (or any successor release) is not published during the week immediately prior to the Reset Determination Date or does not contain such yields, the rate per annum equal to the semi-annual equivalent yield to maturity of the Comparable Treasury Issue, calculated using a price for the Comparable Treasury Issue (expressed as a percentage of its principal amount) equal to the Comparable Treasury Price for the Reset Date.
U.S. Treasury Rate means, with respect to any Remaining Distribution Amount, a rate determined one Business Day prior to the Optional Repurchase Distribution Date that is equal to the U.S. Treasury rate on such date (determined by reference to Bloomberg Financial Markets Commodities News) with a maturity equal to the period from such Optional Repurchase Distribution Date to the Applicable Distribution Date with respect to such Remaining Distribution Amount (or, if such maturity is unavailable, such rate shall be determined by linear interpolation using the U.S. Treasury rates with the two closest maturities to such period).
U.S. Treasury Rate means, with respect to any Reset Period and related Reset Determination Date, the rate per annum calculated by the Calculation Agent equal to: (1) the average of the yields on actively traded U.S. Treasury securities adjusted to constant maturity, for a maturity comparable with the Reset Period, for the five business days immediately prior to the Reset Determination Date and appearing under the caption “Treasury constant maturities” at the Reset Determination Time on the Reset Determination Date in the applicable most recently published statistical release designated “H.15 Daily Update”, or any successor publication that is published by the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System that establishes yields on actively traded U.S. Treasury securities adjusted to constant maturity, under the caption “Treasury Constant Maturities”, for a maturity comparable with the Reset Period; or

  • The Notes will bear interest on their principal amount (i) from and including the Issue Date to, but excluding, the Initial Interest Reset Date, at a rate of 7.300% per annum and (ii) during each Rate Reset Period (as defined in the Prospectus Supplement), at a rate per annum equal to the U.S. Treasury Rate (as defined in the Prospectus Supplement) on the applicable Interest Rate Calculation Date (as defined below) plus 3.010%.

More Definitions of U.S. Treasury Rate

U.S. Treasury Rate means either (a) the rate per annum equal to the yield, that represents the average for the week immediately preceding that in which the third business day prior to the relevant date fixed for redemption falls, appearing in the most recently published statistical release designated “H.15(519)” or any successor publication that is published weekly by the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System and that establishes yields on actively traded United States Treasury securities adjusted to constant maturity under the caption “Treasury Constant Maturities” for the maturity corresponding to the Comparable Treasury Issue provided that (a) if no maturity appears that is within three months before or after the Maturity Date, yields for the two published maturities most closely corresponding to the Comparable Treasury Issue shall be determined and the US Treasury Rate shall be interpolated or extrapolated from such yields on a straight-line basis, and (b) if such release (or any successor release) is not published during the week preceding that in which the third business day prior to the relevant date falls or such release (or successor release) does not contain such yields, the rate per annum equal to the semi-annual equivalent yield to maturity of the Comparable Treasury Issue (expressed as a percentage of its principal amount) equal to the Comparable Treasury Price for the relevant date fixed for redemption, in each case calculated on the third business day immediately preceding the relevant date fixed for redemption.
U.S. Treasury Rate means, with respect to any Reset Period and related Reset Determination Date, the rate per annum calculated by the Calculation Agent equal to: (1) the average of the yields on actively traded U.S. Treasury securities adjusted to constant maturity, for a maturity comparable with the Reset Period, for the five business days immediately prior to the Reset Determination Date and appearing under the caption "Treasury constant maturities" at the Reset Determination Time on the Reset Determination Date in the applicable most recently published statistical release designated "H.15 Daily Update", or any successor publication that is published by the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System that establishes yields on actively traded U.S. Treasury securities adjusted to constant maturity, under the caption "Treasury Constant Maturities", for a maturity comparable with the Reset Period; or (2) if such release (or any successor release) is not published during the week immediately prior to the Reset Determination Date or does not contain such yields, the rate per annum equal to the semi-annual equivalent yield to maturity of the Reset Reference Xxxx, calculated using a price for the Reset Reference Bond (expressed as a percentage of its principal amount) equal to the Reset Reference Bond Price for such Reset Determination Date; If the U.S. Treasury Rate cannot be determined, for whatever reason, as described under (1) or (2) above, "U.S. Treasury Rate" means the rate in percentage per annum as notified by the Calculation Agent to the Issuer equal to the yield on U.S. Treasury securities having a maturity comparable with the Reset Period as set forth in the most recently published statistical release designated "H.15 Daily Update" under the caption "Treasury constant maturities" (or any successor publication that is published weekly by the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System and that establishes yields on actively traded U.S. Treasury securities adjusted to constant maturity under the caption "Treasury constant maturities" for the maturity comparable with the Reset Period) and as at the Reset Determination Time on the last available date preceding the Reset Determination Date on which such rate was set forth in such release (or any successor release).

U.S. Treasury Rate means, in relation to the SNP Reset Date and the SNP Reset Period commencing on the SNP Reset Date, the rate per annum equal to: (1) the average of the yields on actively traded U.S. Treasury securities adjusted to constant maturity, for one-year maturities for the five Business Days immediately prior to the SNP Reset Determination Date, published in the most recent H.15, for the maturity of one year; or (2) if such release (or any successor release) is not published during the week immediately prior to the SNP Reset Determination Date or does not contain such yields, the rate per annum equal to the semi-annual equivalent yield to maturity of the Comparable Treasury Issue, calculated using a price for the Comparable Treasury Issue (expressed as a percentage of its principal amount) equal to the Comparable Treasury Price for the SNP Reset Date.
U.S. Treasury Rate has the meaning set forth in Section 2.01 of the Eighth Supplemental Indenture.
U.S. Treasury Rate means, in relation to a Reset Interest Period, the percentage rate per annum equal to the yield, appearing in the most recently published statistical release designated “H.15(519)” or any successor publication that is published weekly by the Board of Governors of the U.S. Federal Reserve System (available on the website thereof athttp://www.federalreserve.gov/releases/h15/current/default.htm, or any successor site), within the column that presents the average yields for the week ending immediately prior to the Calculation Date for such Reset Interest Period, under the caption “U.S. government securitiesTreasury constant maturities – Nominal,” for U.S. Treasury securities having a maturity comparable to the Reset Interest Period. If such release does not appear on such website, “U.S. Treasury Rate” means the percentage rate per annum equal to the semi-annual or quarterly (as applicable) equivalent yield to maturity of the Comparable Treasury Issue, calculated using a price for the Comparable Treasury Issue (expressed as a percentage of its principal amount) equal to the Comparable Treasury Price for such Calculation Date.
