Utility Distribution Company definition

Utility Distribution Company has the meaning set forth in the CAISO Tariff.
Utility Distribution Company means one of several organizations that control energy transmission and distribution in California. Utility Distribution Companies include, but are not limited to, the Pacific Gas and Electric Company, the San Diego Gas and Electric Company, Southern California Edison, Los Angeles Department of Water and Power, the Imperial Irrigation District, and the Sacramento Municipal Utility District.
Utility Distribution Company or “UDC” means an electric utility, or a business unit of an electric utility, that distributes electricity to customers.
