Viewing Period definition

Viewing Period with respect to each Customer Transaction in the Territory, shall mean the time period (a) commencing at the time the Customer is initially technically enabled to view such Included Program but in no event earlier than its Availability Date, and (b) ending no later than the earlier of (i) forty-eight (48) hours after the Customer first commences viewing such Included Program, (ii) thirty (30) days after the time the Customer is initially technically enabled to view such Included Program, and (iii) the expiration of the License Period for such Included Program; provided, however with respect to subpart (i) above, if as a result of a Bandwidth Test, a Customer does not continue to view a Streamed Transmission of such Included Program and Electronically Downloads such Included Program, such forty-eight (48) hour period shall commence after such Customer has commenced playback of the Electronically Downloaded copy of such Included Program. Notwithstanding the foregoing, a single Video- On-Demand exhibition that commences prior to the end of the Included Program’s License Period may play-off for the uninterrupted duration of the Included Program even if the play-off continues past the end of its License Period.
Viewing Period means, with respect to each Subscriber Transaction, the time period (a) commencing at the earliest time the Subscriber (i) is initially technically enabled to view an Included Program on any of such Subscriber’s Approved Set-Top Boxes or Approved IP Devices, if such Included Program is delivered via streaming, or (ii) commences viewing such Included Program on any of such Subscriber’s Approved Set-Top Boxes or Approved IP Devices, if such Included Program is delivered via Electronic Downloading, and (b) ending on the earlier of (i) 24 or 48 hours, as applicable, thereafter and (ii) the expiration of the License Period for such Included Program. In no case shall any Viewing Period be deemed to begin prior to such Included Program’s Availability Date.
Viewing Period means, with respect to each order of an Included Program, the time period commencing when a Customer orders such Included Program (the “Transaction Date”), and ending on the earliest of (i) twenty-four (24) hours after the Customer initiates the first playback of the Included Program; (ii) the date on which Licensee disables the Customer’s access to such Included Program, which in no event shall be later than thirty (30) days after the Transaction Date; and (iii) the expiration of the License Period for such Included Program.

Examples of Viewing Period in a sentence

  • A Customer’s ability to play back or view an Included Program shall expire not later than the end of the Viewing Period, provided, however, that such Customer may play back or view such Included Program one or more times during such Viewing Period.

  • Viewing Period: Playback of licensed content via Simulstreaming shall be simultaneous (or nearly simultaneous) with the broadcast/cable licensed service.

  • If at any time during the Term, Licensor or any other SPE Entity grants any Other Provider a longer PPV Viewing Period and/or VOD Viewing Period with respect to any Included Program, then Licensor shall notify Licensee in writing thereof and of any terms and conditions contained in the agreement between Licensor or any other SPE Entity and such Other Provider with respect to such Included Program that are directly related to such longer PPV Viewing Period and/or VOD Viewing Period, as applicable.

  • The 4K Program may be viewed solely during the applicable Viewing Period.

  • If the Subscriber elects to Stream the Included Program onto an Approved Device, such Included Program may be Streamed to such device solely during the Viewing Period for viewing on such device.


More Definitions of Viewing Period

Viewing Period means, for each Digital Cutting (except in respect of Links to the Web Articles on NLA publisher websites), the period of 28 (twenty eight) days from the date of the relevant Article’s original publication.
Viewing Period means, with respect to each VOD Customer Transaction for an Included Program, the time period (a) commencing at the time a Customer is initially technically enabled to view such Included Program on any Approved Device but in no event earlier than its Availability Date, and (b) ending on the earliest of (i) (X) prior to June 1, 2013, twenty-four hours after the Customer first commences viewing such Included Program on any Approved Device and (Y) on and after June 1, 2013, forty-eight hours after the Customer first commences viewing such Included Program on any Approved Device, (ii) thirty (30) days after such VOD Customer Transaction, and (iii) the expiration of the License Period for such Included Program. Notwithstanding the foregoing, a single Video-On-Demand exhibition that commences during an Included Program’s Viewing Period on an Approved Device may play-off for the uninterrupted duration of such Included Program, even if such uninterrupted duration continues beyond clause (b)(ii) or (b)(iii) of the immediately preceding sentence (“Customer Play-Off Rights”). For the avoidance of doubt, a Customer is entitled to a single Viewing Period per Customer Transaction for an Included Program, regardless of the number of Approved Devices on which the applicable Included Program is viewed during such Viewing Period. Notwithstanding the foregoing, with respect solely to 4K Included Programs distributed pursuant to the 4K Rights, the Viewing Period shall mean only the 4K Viewing Period.

Viewing Period for an exhibition of an Included Film shall mean a period commencing no earlier than the occurrence of a Subscriber Transaction for such Included Film and expiring on the earliest to occur of (i) 48 hours after the Subscriber first commences viewing such Included Film, (ii) 30 days after the time the Subscriber is initially technically enabled to view such Included Film and (iii) the expiration of the Licence Period for such Included Film.
