FR Value means, in respect of a ST FR Valuation Date, Worst Value.
RI Value means, in respect of a Reference Item and a ST Valuation Date, (i) the RI Closing Value for such Reference Item in respect of such ST Valuation Date, divided by (ii) the relevant RI Initial Value (expressed as a percentage).
SPS AER Value means the Underlying Reference Value.
Land Value means, at any time:-
Worst Value means, in respect of a SPS Valuation Date, the lowest Underlying Reference Value for any Underlying Reference in the Basket in respect of such SPS Valuation Date.
rand value means the total estimated value of a contract in Rand, calculated at the time of bid invitation, and includes all applicable taxes;
Net Value has the meaning set forth in Section 1.68(a)(ii).
Retail value of a prize means:
Good Value means that the Benchmarked Rates are within the Upper Quartile
Baseline Value for each of the Company and the Peer Companies means the dollar amount representing the average of the Fair Market Value of one share of common stock of such company over the five consecutive trading days ending on, and including, the Effective Date.
Stored value means monetary value that is evidenced by an electronic record.
Gross Calorific Value of “GCV” shall mean that quantity of heat expressed in Kilowatt- hour produced by the complete combustion of one (1) normal cubic metre of Natural Gas at twenty-five (25) degrees Celsius and an absolute pressure of one decimal zero one three two five (1.01325) bar with excess air at the same temperature and pressure as the Natural Gas when the products of combustion are cooled to twenty-five (25) degrees Celsius and when the water formed by combustion is condensed to the liquid state and the products of combustion contain the same total mass of water vapor as the Natural Gas and air before combustion.
Commuted Value means the actuarial present value of the pension or other benefit to which an employee, or their spouse or designated beneficiary, if applicable, is or will become entitled and which confirms to generally accepted actuarial principles and is accepted under the Pension Benefits Act, 1987 (Ontario) and regulation thereunder.
Market Value as defined in the regulation prescribing the standards for real estate appraisals used in federally related transactions, 12
Salvage value means the amount received for property retired, less any expenses incurred in connection with the sale or in preparing the property for sale, or, if retained, the amount at which the material recoverable is chargeable to materials and supplies, or other appropriate account.
SAR Value means the excess of the Fair Market Value (on the exercise date) over the exercise price that the participant would have otherwise had to pay to exercise the related Stock Option, multiplied by the number of shares for which the Stock Appreciation Right is exercised.
Gross Heating Value means the total heat expressed in megajoules per cubic metre (MJ/m³) produced by the complete combustion at constant pressure of one (1) cubic metre of gas with air, with the gas free of water vapour and the temperature of the gas, air and products of combustion at standard temperature and all water formed by the combustion reaction condensed to the liquid state;
Best Value means the method by which a proposal/contract, if any, is awarded, in accordance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations. Best Value includes multiple parameters, including experience, references, quality of the Vendor's product(s)/service(s), and price, as detailed in Section 6.0 Evaluation and Award.
transfer value means the value of a transferred vote calculated in accordance with rules STV47.4 or STV47.7. 42. Arrangements for counting of the votes 42.1 The returning officer is to make arrangements for counting the votes as soon as is practicable after the close of the poll. 42.2 The returning officer may make arrangements for any votes to be counted using vote counting software where:
Assessed value means 1 of the following:
Cash Surrender Value means an amount that equals, at any specified time, the cash surrender value as determined under the terms of the Policy.
Company Value means the actual value of the Company as a going concern based on the difference between (a) the actual value of all of its assets as determined in good faith by the Board, including a majority of the Independent Directors, and (b) all of its liabilities as set forth on its balance sheet for the period ended immediately prior to the determination date, provided that (i) if the Company Value is being determined in connection with a Change of Control that establishes the Company’s net worth, then the Company Value shall be the net worth established thereby and (ii) if the Company Value is being determined in connection with a Listing, then the Company Value shall be equal to the number of outstanding Common Shares multiplied by the Closing Price of a single Common Share averaged over a period of 30 trading days during which the Shares are listed or quoted for trading after the date of Listing. For purposes hereof, a “trading day” shall be any day on which the NYSE is open for trading, whether or not the Common Shares are then listed on the NYSE and whether or not there is an actual trade of Common Shares on any such day. If the holder of Convertible Shares disagrees as to the Company Value as determined by the Board, then each of the holder of Convertible Shares and the Company shall name one appraiser and the two named appraisers shall promptly agree in good faith to the appointment of one other appraiser whose determination of the Company Value shall be final and binding on the parties as to the Company Value. The cost of such appraisal shall be split evenly between the Company and the Advisor.
New value means (i) money, (ii) money's worth in property, services, or new credit, or (iii) release by a transferee of an interest in property previously transferred to the transferee. The term does not include an obligation substituted for another obligation.
704(c) Value of any Contributed Property means the fair market value of such property or other consideration at the time of contribution, as determined by the General Partner using such reasonable method of valuation as it may adopt. Subject to Exhibit B hereof, the General Partner shall, in its sole and absolute discretion, use such method as it deems reasonable and appropriate to allocate the aggregate of the 704(c) Values of Contributed Properties in a single or integrated transaction among the separate properties on a basis proportional to their respective fair market values.
Heating Value means the heat released by combustion of one pound of waste or fuel measured in Btu on an as received basis. For solid fuels, the heating value shall be determined by use of ASTM Standard D2015-66.
Cash Value means the greater of (i) the amount that the policyholder is entitled to receive upon surrender or termination of the contract (determined without reduction for any surrender charge or policy loan), and (ii) the amount the policyholder can borrow under or with regard to the contract. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the term “Cash Value” does not include an amount payable under an Insurance Contract as:
(1) a personal injury or sickness benefit or other benefit providing indemnification of an economic loss incurred upon the occurrence of the event insured against;
(2) a refund to the policyholder of a previously paid premium under an Insurance Contract (other than under a life insurance contract) due to policy cancellation or termination, decrease in risk exposure during the effective period of the Insurance Contract, or arising from a redetermination of the premium due to correction of posting or other similar error; or
(3) a policyholder dividend based upon the underwriting experience of the contract or group involved.
