Wear and tear definition

Wear and tear means damage or a reduction in value through age, ordinary use or lack of maintenance.
Wear and tear means a reduction in value through age, natural deterioration, ordinary use, depreciation due to use, damage by exposure to the light, lack of maintenance or damage which happens gradually over a period of time. Examples of things that are likely to be affected include fencing, flat roofs, carpets and flooring and clothing.
Wear and tear means the gradual deterioration associated with normal use and age of the Equipment and its Components.

  • Wear and tear, normal dampness, condensation, thermal movement, movement between different types of materials or shrinkage or normal deterioration (whether caused by neglect or otherwise).

More Definitions of Wear and tear

Wear and tear means the normal expected deterioration of the insured asset arising from normal usage and age.
