Welfare Plans definition

Welfare Plans shall have the meaning set forth in Section 3.2.4.
Welfare Plans has the meaning set forth in Section 4.13(a).
Welfare Plans means any welfare plan, as defined in Section 3(1) of ERISA, which is maintained or contributed to by Borrower or any ERISA Affiliate.

Examples of Welfare Plans in a sentence

  • The Employer shall continue to make payments to Health and Welfare Plans, in the same manner as if the employee were not absent where the employee elects to pay his or her share of the cost of the plans.

  • If participation in any one or more of the Welfare Plans included in the Welfare Continuance Benefit is not possible under the terms of the Welfare Plan or any provision of law would create an adverse tax effect for the Executive or the Company due to such participation, the Company will provide substantially identical benefits directly or through an insurance arrangement.

  • The Company will pay all or a portion of the cost of the Welfare Continuance Benefit for the Executive and his dependents under the Welfare Plans on the same basis as applicable, from time to time, to active employees covered under the Welfare Plans and the Executive will pay any additional costs.

  • Executive and his covered dependents (if any) shall continue participating in such Welfare Plans, subject to the same premium contributions (if any) on the part of Executive as were required immediately prior to his termination until the earlier of (i) his death; (ii) his employment by another employer other than one of which he is the majority owner; or (iii) three (3) years from his termination date.

  • If the Executive dies while receiving a Welfare Continuation Benefit, the Executive’s spouse and other dependents will continue to be covered under all applicable Welfare Plans during the remainder of the 24-month coverage period.


More Definitions of Welfare Plans

Welfare Plans means any health and dental plan, disability plan, survivor income plan and life insurance plan or arrangement currently or hereafter made available by Employer in which Executive is eligible to participate.
Welfare Plans means an “employee welfare benefit plan” as such term is defined in Section 3(1) of ERISA.
Welfare Plans mean the welfare benefit plans, practices, policies and programs provided by Employer to the extent applicable generally to other senior executives of the Company.
Welfare Plans shall have the meaning set forth in Section 5.9(b) hereof.
Welfare Plans is defined in Section 5.14(a).
Welfare Plans means all health, severance, insurance, disability and other employee welfare plans.
Welfare Plans means Employer’s medical, dental, group life and long term disability plans.
