Wire Center definition

Wire Center means the location of one (1) or more local switching systems. It is also a point at which End User’s loops within a defined geographic area converge. Such local loops may be served by one (1) or more Central Office Switches within such premises.

Wire Center means a building or portion thereof which serves as a Routing Point for Switched Exchange Access Service. The Wire Center serves as the premises for one or more Central Offices.

• Local Interconnection Entrance Facilities may not extend beyond the area served by the CenturyLink Serving Wire Center.

• For purposes of determining whether DS1 Dedicated Transport is available as a UNE between UNE Wire Centers under Sections 2.2.1 and 2.2.4.1 above, an Alternative Fiber Wire Center shall be deemed not a DS1 UNE Triggering Endpoint.

Wire Center means the location of a Qwest local switching facility containing one or more Central Offices, as defined in the Appendix to Part 36, Chapter 1 of Title 47 of the Code of Federal Regulations.
