Y2K Compliant definition

Y2K Compliant means, with respect to any Information System, that such Information System (i) handles date information involving any and all dates before, during and/or after January 1, 2000, including accepting input, providing output and performing date calculations in whole or in part; (ii) operates accurately without interruption on and in respect of any and all dates before, during and/or after January 1, 2000 and without any change in performance; (iii) responds to and processes two-digit year input without creating any ambiguity as to the century; and (iv) stores and provides date input information without creating any ambiguity as to the century, in each case without utilizing bridges, gateways and the like while still preserving the level of functionality, usability, reliability, efficiency, performance and accessibility of such data and associated programs as existed prior to any modification to such Information System and its constituent elements to make the same Y2K Compliant.
Y2K Compliant means able to provide specific dates and calculate spans of dates, and to record, store, process and provide true and accurate dates and calculations for dates and spans of dates within and between the twentieth and twenty-first centuries prior to, including and following January 1, 2000, including by: (i) correctly processing day and date calculations; (ii) recognizing September 9, 1999 and January 1, 2001 as valid dates; (iii) recognizing the year 2000 as a leap year having 366 days, and correctly processing February 29, 2000 as a valid leap year date; (iv) employing only four-digit year representations in software, components and systems owned or operated in connection with the Company and its Subsidiaries; and (v) incorporating interface programs sufficient to translate accurately to four-digit format (without any burden of interpretation) any two-digit year representations included in software, components or systems, including but not limited to external databases, data warehouses, software systems and user interfaces that send data to or receive data from software, components or systems used in the Business. * * *
Y2K Compliant means: (a) the functions, calculations and other computer processes of all computer hardware, software and systems, including but not limited to internal and outsourced management information systems and embedded computer features within other systems of the Company or any of its Subsidiaries (collectively, "Processes"), perform properly in a consistent manner regardless of the date in time on which the Processes are actually performed and regardless of the date of input to the software, whether before, on or after January 1, 2000 and whether or not the dates are affected by leap years; (b) the computer hardware, software and systems accept, calculate, compare, sort, extract, sequence and otherwise process data inputs and date values, and return and display date values, in a consistent manner regardless of the dates used, whether before, on or after January 1, 2000; (c) the computer hardware, software and systems will function properly without interruptions or extraordinary manual intervention caused by the date in time on which the Processes are actually performed or by the date of input to the software, whether before, on or after January 1, 2000; (d) the computer hardware, software and systems accept and respond to two-digit year data input in the Processes in a manner that resolves any ambiguities as to the century in a defined, predetermined and appropriate manner; and (e) the computer hardware, software and systems store and display data in the Processes in ways that are unambiguous as to the determination of the century.

Y2K Compliant means, in respect of any computer system, that neither the performance nor functionality of such system is affected by dates prior to, during and after 9 September 1999, as more particularly described in BS1 PD2000-1.

Y2K Compliant means that the Company's computer systems, including equipment supplied by third parties, will record, process, calculate and present calendar dates falling on and after January 1, 2000 and calculate information dependent on or relating to such dates in the same manner and with the same functionality, data integrity and performance as such systems record, process, calculate and present calendar dates on or before December 31, 1999 or calculate any information dependent on or relating to such dates.
