Common use of Association Grievance Clause in Contracts

Association Grievance. An Association grievance is a claim initiated by the Association on behalf of more than one Member, a claim involving Bargaining Unit or Association rights, or a dispute or difference between the Employer and the Association, arising out of the interpretation, application, administration, or alleged violation(s) of the provisions of the Collective Agreement.

Association Grievance. An Association grievance is a claim initiated by grievance as defined above which the Association files on its own behalf or on behalf of two (2) or more than one Member, represented employees. An Association grievance shall be filed with the appropriate Department Director at the Third Step if all affected members are assigned within the same department. All other Association grievances shall be filed with the Director of Human Resources and shall be considered there as a claim involving Bargaining Unit or Association rights, or a dispute or difference between the Employer and the Association, arising out of the interpretation, application, administration, or alleged violation(s) of the provisions of the Collective AgreementThird Step grievance.
