Basic Hours of Work. A22.03 (a) The basic hours of work per day for a Regular full-time employee will be 7 hours divided into two (2) sessions. The basic hours of work per week for a Regular full-time employee will be 35 hours over one (1) week or 70 hours over two (2) weeks.

Basic Hours of Work. The employer may adjust the starting time by completing and submitting to the District Council No. 36, the Registration Form required under Article 3, Section 3, of this Agreement. However, no more than eight (8) hours will be permitted at the straight time rate in any twenty-four (24) hour period, and no starting time will commence before 6:00 A.M., nor after 10:00 A.M. on any day. The Union recognizes that climate beyond the control of the employer often controls the work on the job. When such conditions exist, the employer shall notify the Union of the job location and the unfavorable condition on forms provided stating the day or days on which the lost time is to be made up. The District Council No. 36 shall have the authority to adjust the work week when other extraordinary conditions exist. No man shall be disciplined or discharged for refusing to work on Saturday and/or Sunday.
Basic Hours of Work. The basic hours of work for regular employees is 40 hours per week including daily paid lunch breaks of 30 minutes. Any employee who works a shift greater than 4 hours in length will receive a paid lunch break of 30 minutes. Employees working 8 hour shifts shall be entitled to an additional 30 minutes paid break time to be taken as either 2 x 15 minute breaks or as 1 x 30 minute break.

  • 00 - HOURS OF WORK 14.01 The Employer does not guarantee to provide work to any employee for regularly assigned hours or any other hours, except as provided for in Article 18.00. Eight (8) hours shall constitute a normal day of work. The normal hours of work shall be between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. for an eight (8) hour day, with one-half or one hour for lunch at the midpoint of the shift. Forty (40) hours shall constitute a normal week's work, Monday through Friday inclusive. Variances beyond one (1) hour of 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. shall be agreed mutually between the Employer and the Business Manager. The one (1) hour variance is conditional upon the Employer giving the Union and affected employees appropriate advance notice. If the foregoing starting or quitting times are changed without mutual agreement, applicable overtime rates shall be paid for any time worked before or after the above hours as a result of the change of the times.

  • HOURS OF WORK i) Where employees are now working a longer daily tour, the provisions set out in this Article governing the regular hours of work on a daily tour shall be adjusted accordingly.

  • Normal Hours of Work 6.01 The normal work day is defined as the twenty-four (24) hour period beginning at 12:00 Midnight.

  • ARTICLE HOURS OF WORK The following provision designating regular hours on a daily tour and regular daily tours over the nursing schedule determined by the Hospital shall not be construed to be a guarantee of the hours of work to be performed on each tour or during each tour schedule.
