Bus Duty. C. Every effort will be made to ensure that teachers are assigned to no more than one duty per day. Every effort will be made to minimize the non-teaching duties assigned to teachers in their first year of service. Whenever possible, they will be the last teachers assigned a regular duty.

Bus Duty. Teachers who volunteer to work bus duty shall be compensated at the rate of three dollars ($3.00) per day. No teacher shall be compelled to work bus duty.

Bus Duty. The Board shall make every effort to limit bus duty to four (4) or fewer teachers per school per year. The acceptance of such duty shall be voluntary if possible. The Board shall compensate each teacher as per Appendix C per day of such service.

All requests for compensation under this provision shall be on the standard Extra Bus Duty form, signed by both the requesting teacher and the principal, and forwarded to the Superintendent's office within ten (10) calendar days of the date of the extended bus duty.
