Creation; Membership. It is mutually agreed that a recycled water policy advisory committee, consisting of six (6) members, shall be immediately created, said committee to be designated and to be known as the “Recycled Water Policy Advisory Committee” “Committee”). The Board of Directors of the Santa Xxxxx Valley Water District shall appoint three of its members to serve at the pleasure of the Board on the Committee. Three of the members of said Committee shall be from cities and/or agencies with voting membership on the San Xxxx/Santa Xxxxx Treatment Plant Advisory Committee, as appointed by the City Council of the City of San Xxxx, and shall serve at the pleasure of said Council, with one (1) of such members being a member of the City Council of the City of San Xxxx and one (1) of such members being a member of the City Council of the City of Santa Xxxxx.

Creation; Membership. The Declarant may, at such time as it deems appropriate but not before expiration of a period of five (5) years after the date these Protective Covenants are first recorded, cause to be incorporated under the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, a non-profit corporation to be named “Innsbrook Owners Association,” or a similar name (the “Association”). Upon organization, every Owner, as defined in these restrictions, shall become a member of the Association. The Association will, until Declarant owns less than five per cent (5%) of the land comprising Innsbrook, be governed by a board of directors consisting of five (5) members. The Association will be governed by the provisions of this Article VIII.

  • Union Membership Every employee who is now or hereafter becomes a member of the Union shall maintain membership in the Union as a condition of employment, and every new employee whose employment commences hereafter shall, within thirty (30) days after the commencement of employment, apply for and maintain membership in the Union, as a condition of employment, provided that any employee in the appropriate bargaining unit, who is not required to maintain membership or apply for and maintain membership in the Union, shall, as a condition of employment, tender to the Union the periodic dues uniformly required to be paid by the members of the Union.

  • Association Membership In accordance with applicable laws, the Employer/Appointing Authority shall not discriminate against, interfere with, restrain or coerce an employee from exercising his/her right to join or not to join the Association, or participate in an official capacity on behalf of the Association, which is in accordance with the provisions of this Agreement. The Association shall not discriminate against, interfere with, restrain or coerce an employee from exercising the right to join or not to join the Association, and will not discriminate against any employee in the administration of this Agreement because of non-membership in the Association.

The Employer will not discriminate against any employee because of Union membership or lack of it, and will inform all new employees of the contractual relationship between the Employer and the Union. Before commencing work, any new employee will be introduced by the Employer to the xxxxxxx in her/his department.
