Department of Homeland Security Standard Terms and Conditions. This contract may be totally or partially funded with federal funds. If any federal funds are to be used to compensate or reimburse Contractor under this Agreement, Contractor represents that it is and will remain in compliance with all terms as stated in the FY 2020 Department of Homeland Security Standard Terms and Conditions, attached hereto as Exhibit “B”. The terms and conditions of DHS financial assistance awards flow down to all sub recipients, unless a particular award term or condition specifically indicates otherwise. Recipients include all third party contractors and their contracts at every tier and sub recipients and their subcontracts at every tier that exceed the simplified acquisition threshold.

  • Department of Health and Human Services An employee notified of a positive controlled substance or alcohol test result may request an independent test of their split sample at the employee’s expense. If the test result is negative, the Employer will reimburse the employee for the cost of the split sample test. An employee who has a positive alcohol test and/or a positive controlled substance test may be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including dismissal, based on the incident that prompted the testing, including a violation of the drug and alcohol free work place rules.

  • Compliance with Federal Law, Regulations, and Executive Orders This is an acknowledgement that FEMA financial assistance will be used to fund the contract only. The contractor will comply will all applicable federal law, regulations, executive orders, FEMA policies, procedures, and directives.

  • Information Technology Accessibility Standards Any information technology related products or services purchased, used or maintained through this Grant must be compatible with the principles and goals contained in the Electronic and Information Technology Accessibility Standards adopted by the Architectural and Transportation Barriers Compliance Board under Section 508 of the federal Rehabilitation Act of 1973 (29 U.S.C. §794d), as amended.   • Certification of Compliance with the Energy Policy and Conservation Act When appropriate and to the extent consistent with the law, Vendor certifies that it will comply with the Energy Policy and Conservation Act (42 U.S.C. 6321 et seq; 49 C.F.R. Part 18) and any mandatory standards and policies relating to energy efficiency which are contained in applicable state energy conservation plans issued in compliance with the Act. Does Vendor agree?
