Filling Vacancy. Vacancies may be filled with the most senior qualified applicant from within the affected classification. Should no bargaining unit member from the affected classification apply, the vacancy may then be filled by a qualified applicant from other classifications with the most seniority.
Filling Vacancy. In the event that the Auditors resign as auditors of the Trust, the Trustee shall forthwith fill the vacancy with such new auditors as is approved by the members of the Board of Directors of the Corporation whom are independent of the Corporation, and such new auditors shall act as auditors of the Trust for the unexpired term of the predecessor auditors of the Trust.
Filling Vacancy. In the event the leave is approved, the position may be filled with a short-term substitute, or the position may be posted as a temporary vacancy.
Filling Vacancy. The vacancy shall be filled within twenty (20) working days of the closing of bids.

Subject to the Act, a quorum of directors may fill a vacancy among the directors, except a vacancy resulting from an increase in the number or the minimum or maximum number of directors, or a failure to elect the number or minimum number of directors provided for in the articles. A director appointed or elected to fill a vacancy holds office for the unexpired term of their predecessor. If there is not a quorum of directors or if there has been a failure to elect the number or minimum number of directors provided for in the articles, the directors then in office shall without delay call a special meeting of shareholders to fill the vacancy and, if they fail to call a meeting or if there are no directors then in office, the meeting may be called by any shareholder.
Filling Vacancy. No appointment of a new principal will be made while there is available, on unrequested leave, a principal who is properly licensed to fill such vacancy.
Filling Vacancy. When a leave of absence without pay is granted it shall be understood that the vacancy thus caused may be filled and that the returning employee shall be guaranteed a similar position in the same classification, but not necessarily the same position.
Filling Vacancy. The three (3) applicants receiving the highest combined ratings or in the event of a tie, the applicants with the three (3) highest ratings shall be notified that they have been selected for consideration by the Sheriff for promotion. The names of the selected applicants will be posted at the jail. The Sheriff shall fill the vacancy from the three (3) applicants submitted to him for promotion.
Filling Vacancy. When selecting a person to fill the position, the Superintendent will take into consideration the applicant’s qualifications, education, experience in the field, seniority in the school system and the needs of the District. In addition, if the applicant requests an interview, it will be granted. The Superintendent may choose not to fill the vacancy or new position. The decision of the Superintendent and the Board shall be final. The applicant shall be advised of the reason for the decision. When a vacancy or new position is filled during the school year, notice thereof will be posted in the Central Office. When a vacancy or new position is filled during the summer, notification thereof will be given to all applicants by letter. When it becomes necessary to fill a vacancy occurring during the school year in less than the seven school days period previously specified, the Superintendent will post the notice of vacancy or new position within the period of time available, and will conspicuously set forth on such notice the period of time within which the vacancy or new position must be filled.
Filling Vacancy. Whenever a vacancy exists, the Employer shall determine whether the vacancy shall be filled.
