MINORITY BUSINESS PARTICIPATION. 2 C.F.R. § 200.321 requires that all necessary affirmative steps are taken to assure that minority and women’s businesses are used when possible, and N.C. Gen. Stat. 143-128.2 establish a ten percent (10%) goal for participation by minority and women owned businesses in total value of work for the HRP. MINORITY BUSINESS PARTICIPATION. 22.1 It is the policy of OWASA to provide minority businesses an equal opportunity to participate in all aspects of OWASA’s contract activities. Consultant shall comply with OWASA’s Minority Business Participation Outreach Plan and Guidelines.
MINORITY BUSINESS PARTICIPATION. It is the policy of the Owner to encourage the use of minority businesses in all school construction contracts and to have a verifiable goal of ten percent (10%) participation by minority businesses in the total value of the work. It is the intent of this policy that the Owner, as awarding authority for school construction projects, and all Contractors and Subcontractors performing the construction contracts awarded shall cooperate and in good faith do all things legal, proper, and reasonable to achieve the verifiable goal of ten percent (10%) participation. The Bidder shall make a good faith effort to utilize minority businesses per the requirements of Section IInformation to Bidders, Article I-8.
MINORITY BUSINESS PARTICIPATION. Contractor is required to identify participation of Minority and Women-Owned Business Enterprises (MWBE) in its proposal and document how that participation is achieved. There is a verifiable goal of seven percent (7%) for participation by minority businesses in the total value of work for the Project. Contractor shall comply with the document titled “Guidelines For Recruitment and Selection of Minority Businesses For Participation In Town of Apex Construction Contracts”, including associated Affidavits and Appendices which are hereby incorporated herein.
MINORITY BUSINESS PARTICIPATION. GS 143-128.2 establishes a ten percent (10%) goal for participation by minority business in total value of work for each State building project. For construction contracts with a value of less than $300,000, the Owner has the responsibility to make a good faith effort to solicit minority bids and to attain the goal. The contractor shall include with his bid a completed Identification of HUB Certified/Minority Business Participation form. Contractor shall submit completed Appendix E MBE Documentation for Contract Payments form with final payment request. For construction contracts with a value of $300,000 or greater, the contractor shall comply with the document Guidelines for Recruitment and Selection of Minority Businesses for Participation in State Construction Contracts including Identification of Minority Business Participation, Affidavits A, B, C, and D, and Appendix E. These forms provided herein are hereby incorporated and made a part of this contract.

  • Program Participation By participating in the CRF Program, Grantee agrees to:

  • Utilization of Minority Business Enterprises The Contractor shall perform under this Contract in accordance with 45 C.F.R. Part 74; and, as applicable, C.G.S. §§ 4a-60 to 4a-60a and 4a-60g to carry out this policy in the award of any subcontracts.

  • Employee Participation The Employer will assist employees' participation in health promotion and health education programs. Health promotion and health education programs that have been endorsed by the Employer (Minnesota Management & Budget) will be considered to be non-assigned job-related training pursuant to Administrative Procedure 21. Approval for this training is at the discretion of the Appointing Authority and is contingent upon meeting staffing needs in the employee's absence and the availability of funds. Employees are eligible for release time, tuition reimbursement, or a pro rata combination of both. Employees may be reimbursed for up to one hundred (100) percent of tuition or registration costs upon successful completion of the program. Employees may be granted release time, including the travel time, in lieu of reimbursement.

  • PARTICIPATION IN SIMILAR ACTIVITIES 1. Parties are not prevented by this MoU from participating and activities similar to those described in this document with third parties. There is no obligation to disclose any similar activity to the other party. However, when considered of mutual benefit, both parties are encouraged to involve the other party in similar activities to the goal of disseminating the knowledge about XXX.xx.

  • Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise Participation Pursuant to Education Code section 71028 and Public Contract Code section 10115, the District may have a participation goal for disabled veteran business enterprises (DVBEs) of at least three (3) percent per year of funds expended each year by the District on projects that use funds from the California Community College Chancellor’s Office. This Project may use funds allocated under the Act. Therefore, to the extent feasible and pertaining to future hirings, the Consultant, before it executes the Agreement, shall provide to the District certification of compliance with the procedures for implementation of DVBE contracting goals, appropriate documentation identifying the amount(s) intended to be paid to DVBEs in conjunction with the contract, and documentation demonstrating the Consultant’s good faith efforts to meet these goals.

  • Minority Business Enterprise The Recipient shall comply with the minority business requirements pursuant to Section 164.07(A) of the Revised Code and rule 164-1-32 of the Administrative Code when making direct purchases of equipment, materials or supplies.

  • COOPERATIVE PURCHASING PROGRAM PARTICIPATION Arkansas' Purchasing Law provides that local public procurement units (counties, municipalities, school districts, certain nonprofit corporations, etc.) may participate in state purchasing contracts. The contractor therefore agrees to sell to Cooperative Purchasing Program participants at the option of the program participants. Unless otherwise stated, all standard and special terms and conditions listed within the contract must be equally applied to such participants.

  • PARTICIPATION IN CENTRALIZED CONTRACTS a. Agencies All State Agencies may utilize and purchase under any Centralized Contract let by the Commissioner, unless the Bid Documents limit purchases to specific State Agencies.

  • DISADVANTAGED BUSINESS ENTERPRISE OR HISTORICALLY UNDERUTILIZED BUSINESS REQUIREMENTS The Engineer agrees to comply with the requirements set forth in Attachment H, Disadvantaged Business Enterprise or Historically Underutilized Business Subcontracting Plan Requirements with an assigned goal or a zero goal, as determined by the State.
