ORGANIZING FUND. Each Employer subject hereto shall contribute the amount established in the respective wage schedule for each and every hour worked by an Employee covered by this Agreement to the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 870 Organizing Fund. ORGANIZING FUND. The employer agrees to deduct and remit from each employee based on the amounts below, per hour paid, on or before the fifteenth (15th) day of each month, together with a list of all employees and their Social Insurance Numbers to: Atlantic Canada Regional Council of Carpenters 0000 Xxxxxxxxx Xxxxx Xxxxx Xxxxxxxxx, XX X0X 0X0 ............................................... fifteen cents ($0.15) per hour paid GENERAL: All power tools and mechanical mitre boxes used by Carpenters and Apprentices on any job for woodworking purposes shall be operated by Carpenters and Apprentices, and such tools shall be supplied by the employer and at all times kept in sound and serviceable condition. Carpenters and Apprentices shall be required to own and have with them all hand tools necessary to perform the work of their trade, and shall be allowed time during working hours to keep tools sharp and in good working condition. Adequate clean quarters, with sufficient room for employees, heated when necessary, shall be provided. When rubber boots are supplied, they shall be in good, clean, sanitary condition. Sanitary facilities will be maintained with proper seats and paper. When feasible, the employer will provide chemical facilities. Piece work of any nature will be a direct violation of this Collective Agreement. All doors and door hardware such as panic bars, kick plates, locks and closures will be installed by members of Local 1588 except where Painters Local 1945 has jurisdiction. Failure to comply will be a violation of Article 13 of the Commercial Agreement and Article 13 of the Industrial Agreement.

ORGANIZING FUND. The Employer will deduct from the employee’s pay and remit to the Organizing Fund amounts shown on the applicable chart in Addendum F. The Union agrees to save and hold the Employer and NFSA harmless from any action, claim, loss, damage, or the like, including all attorneys’ fees arising from or in any way con- nected with any deduction made pursuant to this Article. Contractors may make the payments required by this Article by the electronic transfer of funds where permissible.

ORGANIZING FUND. Xxxxxxx xxxxxx agreed to contribute $0.10 per hour worked by a member of the Operating Engineers to the Operating Engineers Organizing Fund. Andritz contributions may be remitted electronically, as directed by the Operating Engineers. BENEFITS Xxxxxxx xxxxxx agrees to the following benefits: Benefit Rate Subsistence Subsistence = $150 per calendar day worked Local residents, including residents of Nipawin, Xxxxx Lake, anyone who commutes from their home or their own real property, shall not receive subsistence pay. Travel Travel, as set out below, will be paid at a rate of pay based on the maximum acceptable rate established by the Canada Revenue Agency, which is $0.68/km at the time of signing of this Agreement. Each employee shall receive an initial travel payment from their dispatch point of Regina, Saskatoon, or Prince Xxxxxx. Local residents, including Nipawin residents, shall receive travel allowance. Each employee shall be paid a daily travel allowance from the temporary domicile (assumed to be in the area of Nipawin, SK) to the Project boundary of the of the “free zone” (30km from the Project). The daily travel payment will be for a total of 82km per day per employee, representing 41km each way from Nipawin to the free zone. Should an employee elect to take seven days off after working a full 28-day rotation, travel expenses to and from the dispatch point will be paid for employees dispatched from Regina, Saskatoon, or Prince Xxxxxx.
