SUBSTITUTE TEACHER PAY. Except for emergencies or extenuating circumstances, no teacher assistant or technology support technician shall be required to substitute for a teacher. In the event a teacher assistant or technology support technician provides substitute teaching services for a classroom teacher at the request of the building administrator or his/her designee in excess of one (1) hour, the teacher assistant or technology support technician shall receive compensation, in addition to his/her teacher assistant or technology support technician pay, at the rate of $35 for a half-day or $65 for a whole day as a substitute teacher during the period the teacher assistant or technology support technician performs this additional service.

SUBSTITUTE TEACHER PAY. A substitute teacher shall be paid no less than 0.0025 of the base salary ($100.50 for 2017-18) ($102.76 for 2018-19) ($105.08 for 2019-2020) per day.
SUBSTITUTE TEACHER PAY. An aide, when called upon to substitute for a teacher in their classroom or the registered nurse, shall receive the substitute teacher/RN rate, or the regular per diem rate plus $15.00 for each full day. On any given day, the minimum compensation for an aide substituting for a teacher or nurse will be ¼ day of the teacher/nurse substitute pay rate in place of ¼ day of the aide pay rate. Aides will be paid in ¼ day increments rounding to the next ¼ day.
SUBSTITUTE TEACHER PAY. Teachers that substitute during their prep hour will be reimbursed at 1/7 of a contracted day of said teacher’s salary.
SUBSTITUTE TEACHER PAY. Whenever a substitute teacher works in the same assignment in excess of twenty (20) consecutive days, he/she shall be placed at the appropriate rate on the teacher's salary schedule. Upon completion of this continuous assignment (substituting for the same teacher), the substitute teacher shall revert back to the regular daily rate that has been established by the District and shall remain at that rate until he/she again reaches the twenty-first (21st) day in another continuous assignment. It is further agreed to by both parties that substitute teachers have no additional rights or privileges under this Agreement, nor are they subject to any representation fees or dues.

  • Substitute Teachers In lieu of salary under the Basic Salary Schedule, the District shall pay to teachers employed on the basis of the teacher being available for service if and when called upon by the District, and known as Substitute Teachers, an allowance of $217.04 per day of teaching effective September 1, 2011.
