All students, grades 4-12, at the Shanksville-Stonycreek Area School District (SSSD) will be participating in a 1:1 Chromebook Initiative for the 2022-23 school year. The district will issue students an SSSD Chromebook to be used during the school day and at home for the duration of the school year. While the student is responsible for the care of the Chromebook, it will remain sole property of SSSD until the student graduates. Ownership of the device will then be transferred to the student. Students have the option to opt out of using a district issued Chromebook and the district agrees to this special accommodation.
