One and six tenths (1.6) FTE shall be granted to the Academic Senate.
A single District-wide committee consisting of the president of the AFT or designee, the District Academic Senate president or designee, the Director of Human Resources or designee, and the Vice Chancellor of Educational Services and Planning or designee, will provide guidance and settle any disputes that arise during this two-year pilot period.
It is expected that representatives of the Association, of the Academic Senate, and of the District shall meet to determine the academic year calendar at least two years in advance.
The District’s decisions shall consider the advice and recommendations of the Academic Senate based upon the advice of the Curriculum Committee.
