Exchange Student definition

Exchange Student means a student enrolled in the Exchange Programme;
Exchange Student means a student who is enrolled as a full-time degree student at one Party who becomes temporarily enrolled as a non-degree student at the other Party pursuant to a separate inter-institutional student mobility agreement between the Parties.
Exchange Student shall refer to a student from either home institution attending the host institution as an exchange student during the fall or spring academic semester. Exchange students pay tuition and fees to their home institution.

Examples of Exchange Student in a sentence

  • Upon request from the Home Institution, the Host Institution shall send necessary documents including an official academic transcript or an official certificate of the Exchange Student for the Home Institution to transfer the credits.

  • Two (2) Exchange Students enrolling for one (1) semester or less shall be deemed equivalent to one (1) Exchange Student enrolling for one (1) academic year.

  • It shall be the sole responsibility of the Home institution to recognize how many transfer credit units the Exchange Student may receive for the courses or research works taken at the Host Institution.

  • Assistance with Visa Applications and Accommodations: The Host Institution shall provide Exchange Students or Exchange Staff with the necessary information of visas and relevant documents and all other assistance for visa applications whereas it shall be the sole responsibility of the Exchange Student or the Exchange Staff to complete the procedures.

  • The period of stay of each Exchange Student at the Host Institution shall not exceed one (1) academic year.


More Definitions of Exchange Student

Exchange Student means an incoming student from another university, or an outgoing student to another university, under an exchange programme or a Memorandum of Understanding between the two universities to allow a student to undertake selected courses in the host university.

Exchange Student means a student who is registered for a Degree in a recognized Institution/University in India or abroad and is officially sponsored by his parent Institution to avail laboratory and other academic facilities or for attending a formal set of courses;
Exchange Student refers to an outbound recipient of the SMS program who shall be accepted by the host institution for a certain period.
