Member States of the European Union definition

Member States of the European Union means those states which are as of the date hereof, and other states which shall from time to time become, member states of the European Union.
Member States of the European Union means (a) for purposes of Section 1.12, those states which were members of the European Union prior to May 1, 2004 and Romania and (b) for all other purposes means those states which are as of the date hereof, and other states which shall from time to time become, member states of the European Union and in any event shall include Romania.
Member States of the European Union shall refer to the applicable Extended EEA Country in which the data exporter is established or from where the transferred Personal Data originated (as applicable);

  • The carriage of goods by road within a Member State of the European Union or between Member States of the European Union is outside the scope of this Agreement.

  • European Economic Area means the member nations of the European Economic Area pursuant to the Oporto Agreement on the European Economic Area dated May 2, 1992, as amended.

  • parent institution in a Member State means an institution in a Member State which has a institution or a financial institution as a subsidiary or which holds a participation in such an institution, and which is not itself a subsidiary of another institution authorised in the same Member State, or of a financial holding company or mixed financial holding company set up in the same Member State.

  • Website of the European Central Bank means the website of the European Central Bank currently at http://www.ecb.europa.eu or any successor website officially designated by the European Central Bank.
