Examples of parent institution in a Member State in a sentence
Member States shall ensure that a parent institution in a Member State, or a Union parent institution, or a company referred to in points (c) and (d) of Article 1and its subsidiaries that are institutions or financial institutions covered by the supervision of the parent undertaking, may enter into an agreement to provide financial support to any other party to the agreement that experiences financial difficulties, provided that the conditions laid down in this chapter are satisfied.
Where a parent undertaking is a parent institution in a Member State or an EU parent institution, supervision on a consolidated basis shall be exercised by the competent authorities that authorised it.
The terms ‘institution’ and ‘institution-specific’ shall be deemed to refer to an institution on a solo basis, or to the parent institution in a given perimeter of application of a particular stress testing exercise or to the parent institution in a Member State or to the EU parent institution on the basis of the relevant consolidated situation as referred to in Article 4(1)(47) of Regulation (EU) No 575/2013.
