Principal’s Representative definition

Principal’s Representative means the person nominated by the Principal or other person from time to time appointed in writing by the Principal to act as the Principal’s Representative for the purposes of the Contract.
Principal’s Representative means the person identified as such in the Engagement Documents or otherwise notified to the Supplier verbally or in writing from time to time;
Principal’s Representative means the person named in the Special Conditions or such other person from time to time nominated by the Principal under 3.1.

Examples of Principal’s Representative in a sentence

  • For the purpose of exercising some of the powers, duties, discretions and authorities, vested in him on behalf of the Principal, the Principal’s Representative may from time to time appoint a representative (‘Contract Manager’).

  • The Principal’s Representative is not an independent certifier or valuer.

  • No other person is permitted to exercise any right or function of the Principal without the express written consent of the Principal or the Principal’s Representative.

  • The Principal’s Representative shall exercise the duties discretions and powers vested in the Principal under the Contract except this power of appointment.

  • When the Contractor receives a written notice of suspension from the Principal or the Principal’s Representative, the Contractor must suspend the performance of its obligations under this Contract until such time that the Principal or the Principal’s Representative directs that this Contract is no longer suspended.
