Project Implementation Manual definition

Project Implementation Manual or “PIM” means the manual setting out the measures required for the implementation of the Project, as the same may be amended from time to time, subject to prior approval of the Association;

Project Implementation Manual means the manual outlining, inter alia, the administrative, financial, accounting, disbursement and procurement arrangements, and work plans for the implementation of the Project, referred to in Section I.G of Schedule 2 of this Agreement and updated as of August 2007, as the same may be amended from time to time, and such term includes any schedules to the Project Implementation Manual.

Project Implementation Manual means the Recipient’s guidelines and procedures satisfactory to the Association to be used for the purpose of implementing the Project, including in the areas of monitoring and evaluation, coordination, social and environment, and other provisions related to the institutional organization, as such guidelines and procedures may be amended from time to time in agreement with the Association, and such term includes any schedule to the Project Implementation Manual.

• Notwithstanding the foregoing, if any of the provisions of the Project Implementation Manual is inconsistent with the provisions of this Agreement, the provisions of this Agreement shall prevail and govern.

• The PMU shall: (i) evaluate the Grant applications; (ii) decide on which Grants shall receive financing under the Financing; (iii) approve the Grant for disbursement, ensuring it will not exceed the total estimated cost of the activities it will finance and, thereafter, conclude the Grant Agreement with each Beneficiary; and (iv) not assign, amend, abrogate or waive the Project Implementation Manual or any of its provisions without the Association’s prior agreement.

• Strengthening of the Research System For the purposes of carrying out Part 2 of the Project, the Secretariat General shall enter into an implementation agreement with ITRA and ICAT whereby the Secretariat General shall: (i) entrust to ITRA or ICAT its implementation responsibilities thereunder; and (ii) ensure Part 2 is carried out by ITRA and ICAT as planned in the AWP&B and in accordance with the provisions of the Project Implementation Manual.

• Small Grants under Part 2.1 of the Project shall be managed and monitored by INRAB pursuant to the provisions of the Project Implementation Manual and within the framework of the AWP&B, and shall be made available to Beneficiaries through INRAB on the basis of the specific Research Proposals previously validated by the PMU and included and approved in the AWP&B to finance an amount not exceeding the total estimated cost of the activities it will finance.

Project Implementation Manual means the manual adopted by the Recipient through FIRCA on March 30, 2010, for the purposes of defining the detailed implementation arrangements for the Project, and setting forth, inter alia: (i) the detailed Project staffing plan for each stakeholder; and (ii) the Project monitoring and evaluation modalities, as the same may be amended from time to time with the agreement of the Association.

Project Implementation Manual means a set of guidelines for the CDBG-DR Program, incorporated herein by reference for all purposes in its entirety.

Project Implementation Manual means the Project Implementation Manual referred to in Part B.1 of Section I of the Schedule to the Project Agreement.

Project Implementation Manual means the Recipient’s manual, referred to in Section I.C.1 of Schedule 2 to this Agreement, as the same may be amended from time to time with the prior written agreement of the Association, and such term includes any annexes or schedules to such Manual.
