Service Date definition

Service Date or "SD" means the date service is made available to the End User Customer. This also is referred to as the "Due Date."
Service Date means the usual commencement date of employment at a school for teachers who are to commence teaching on the first day of the first term.
Service Date. Refers to the first day of the pay period in which the employee begins work.

More Definitions of Service Date

Service Date means the start date designated in the first Invoice issued under this Agreement by IEEE or its authorized representative to Licensee.

For purposes of this provision, a teacher on an authorized leave of absence or on layoff shall continue to accrue seniority during any such period(s), provided, however, that seniority accrued during any such authorized leave of absence or period of layoff shall not be included for purpose of advancement on the salary schedule.
