SAMPLES. 10.1 Samples submitted by the Contractor for any reasons, shall be supplied without charge and freight paid without any obligation to the Purchaser as regards safe custody and safe return thereof. All samples submitted must be clearly labeled with the Contractor's name and address and tender number. If the Contractor submits the sample with his tender the same shall govern the standard of supply if it has been specifically stated in the Contract that the sample has been accepted instead of the Patent item. 10.2 Should certified samples be lent to the Contractor by the Purchaser, the Contractor would be responsible for the return of all certified samples in perfect order, with the labels intact. 11
