10Successors Sample Clauses

The "Successors" clause establishes that the rights and obligations under the agreement are binding upon and benefit the parties' successors and permitted assigns. In practice, this means that if a party undergoes a merger, acquisition, or transfers its interests to another entity, the new entity will inherit the responsibilities and benefits of the original party under the contract. This clause ensures continuity and enforceability of the agreement even if the parties' legal identities change, thereby preventing parties from escaping contractual duties through restructuring or assignment.
