18─Subcontractors Sample Clauses
The Subcontractors clause defines the rules and requirements for engaging third parties to perform work under the main contract. It typically outlines the conditions under which subcontracting is permitted, such as requiring the primary party to obtain prior written consent from the other party before hiring subcontractors, and may specify standards or qualifications that subcontractors must meet. This clause ensures that the quality and obligations of the main contract are maintained, and helps manage risks by holding the primary contractor responsible for the actions and performance of their subcontractors.
