Common use of 2D 2N Extended Tour Schedules Clause in Contracts

2D 2N Extended Tour Schedules. (a) When the Hospital and the Union agree, the 2D 2N extended tour schedule shall be instituted when eighty percent (80%) of the nurses on a particular nursing unit have so indicated by secret ballot. For nurses who indicate to their Unit Manager that they do not wish to work extended tours, the Hospital will endeavour to schedule these nurses on a normal shift rotation.
