(e) If mail service is or is threatened to be interrupted at a time when the Corporation or the Rights Agent wishes to give a notice or demand hereunder to or on the third calendar day following deposit holders of the Rights, the Corporation or the Rights Agent may, notwithstanding the foregoing provisions of this Section 6.76.8, give such notice by means, of publication once in each of two successive weeks in the business section of the Financial Post and, so long as the Corporation has a transfer agent in the United States, in a daily publication in the United States Maildesignated by the Corporation, or in such other publication or publications as may be designated by the case Corporation and notice so published shall be deemed to have been given on the date on which the first publication of such notice in any such publication has taken place. (f) A requirement under this Agreement that a notice, document or other information be given or made in writing may bebe satisfied by the Corporation or the Rights Agent by providing an electronic notice, document or other information in accordance with the BCBCA, the Electronic Transactions Act (British Columbia) and other applicable laws. An electronic document is deemed to have been received when it enters the information system designated by the addressee or, if the notice, document or information is posted on or made available through a generally accessible electronic source, when the addressee receives notice in writing of the availability and location of that electronic notice, document or information or, if such notice is sent electronically, when it enters the information system designated by the addressee.
