MEMBERSHIP IN THE UNION It is the mutual desire of the Board and the Unit that all Teachers shall exercise their rights under this Collective Agreement, or the applicable Statutes of Ontario, in a professional and responsible manner without any fear of discrimination or recrimination.
Designated Teacher for Looked After Children 17A) The Academy Trust will in respect of the Academy act in accordance with, and be bound by, all relevant statutory and regulatory provisions and have regard to any guidance and codes of practice issued pursuant to such provisions, as they apply at any time to a maintained school, relating to the designation of a person to manage the teaching and learning programme for children who are looked after by a LA and are registered pupils at the school. For the purpose of this clause, any reference to the governing body of a maintained school in such statutory and regulatory provisions, or in any guidance and code of practice issued pursuant to such provisions, shall be deemed to be references to the Governing Body of the Academy Trust. Transfer of Membership Interest The Sole Member may Transfer any part or all of its rights and interest (including, but not limited to, its Capital Account) in the Company (each a “Membership Interest”) now owned or hereafter acquired to any Person, and the transferee of such Membership Interest shall become a Member of the Company.
