ABANDONED HOUSEHOLD HAZARDOUS WASTE. The CoHHW Program will allow for the disposal of abandoned HHW by government agencies and qualified nonprofit charitable reusers. Abandoned HHW means HHW left at a property by an unknown party. Abandoned household hazardous waste does not include waste generated by a known organization or agency in the course of normal business operations such as, but not limited to, the assembly or manufacture of products from new or used materials or the provision of charitable services such as classroom education, meal preparation, and shelter, or the provision of services for a fee.
