Common use of Abandonment of Premises Clause in Contracts

Abandonment of Premises. If Tenant defaults in the performance of any Lease obligation, Landlord may, at Landlord’s sole option, terminate this Agreement or terminate Tenant’s right to possession of Premises. If Landlord opts to terminate Tenant’s right to possession without terminating this Agreement, Tenant shall remain liable for all rent that accrues until the end of the lease term or until Landlord re-leases Premises, whichever comes first.
