Abandonment Operations Required by Governmental Authxxxxx. A well abandonment or Platform and Development Facilities removal required by a governmental authority having jurisdiction shall be accomplished by Operator with the costs, risks, and net proceeds, if any, to be shared by the Parties owning the well or Platform and Development ST/WD EPA JOA 46 Facilities in proportion to their Participating Interests therein. No approval by the Parties will be necessary for Operator to proceed with the government required well abandonment, or Platform and Development Facilities removal. The Operator shall provide the Parties with an informational AFE prior to commencing such an abandonment or removal.
