ACADEMIC COMMITMENT. For Undergraduate and Master grantees (except for full degree master grantees): 1. The grantee commits to hand in to the official Erasmus Mundus – IANUS contact person at the host university the Learning Agreement, including possible changes made with respect to the originally proposed version, signed by himself/herself and the:  academic coordinator at the home university  official Erasmus Mundus – IANUS contact person at the home university (for IANUS partner universities) / Representative at institutional level (for TG2 grantees)  academic coordinator at the host university  official Erasmus Mundus – IANUS contact person at the host university four weeks after the starting date of academic activities at the host university, at the latest. The grantee will send a copy of this document to the Erasmus Mundus – IANUS coordinating university (xxxxx@xxxx.xx) and to his/her home university. 2. The grantee commits to enroll for a full study or workload that corresponds to the duration of the stay abroad and to complete successfully at least 20 ECTS (or equivalent) per semester.

ACADEMIC COMMITMENT. Text to be used for students: The scholarship holder must sign a Learning Agreement or Study/Research Plan. This document must be countersigned by: ● the responsible person at the Home University (for Target Group 1) ● the responsible person at the Host University four weeks after the starting date of academic activities, at the latest. The Host University must submit a copy of this document to the contact person at the project Coordinating Institution, Regular progress reports will have to be submitted if the mobility flow is longer than one semester. In any case a final report will have to be submitted at the end of the mobility period. The first one is due after one semester and the following reports have to be submitted at the end of the first and, if applicable, the second year. Each report has to be accompanied by a short-standardized statement of the supervisor evaluating the grantee’s performance and, based on that, recommending the renewal or termination of the scholarship. The reports will have to be sent to the contact person of the Coordinating Institution [xxx.xxxxxxxxx@xxxxxxxx.xxx.xx]. At the end of the mobility period at the Host University, each scholarship holder has to prepare a detailed final report which has to be submitted with the written consent of the academic supervisor and the official contact person at the Host University to the Project Management Unit (xxx.xxxxxxxxx@xxxxxxxx.xxx.xx). The student mobility periods can only be interrupted if the student has to temporarily stop the academic activities at the host institutions for duly justified and well documented personal reasons (e.g. serious illness, parent loss, etc.) or academic reasons (e.g. research activities abroad). 13.1 Suspension/interruption for personal reasons: the scholarship payment will be interrupted until the scholarship holder has resumed the academic activities at the host institution. However, if despite the temporary absence the scholarship holder can catch up on the study/research activities without needing to extend the originally agreed scholarship duration, the monthly allowances corresponding to the period of interruption could be paid to the student upon agreement of the partnership. If the scholarship holder could not catch up because of serious and justified reasons, her/his absence might lead to an extension of the mobility duration, within the maximum eligible duration for this type of mobility (see Article 3.3 of this agreement). 13.2 Suspension/i...
ACADEMIC COMMITMENT. A. Duquesne University will retain fulltime first‐year freshmen students for two years. B. Duquesne University will provide additional academic support in the form of a PA Acts academic advisor/learning coach who will meet with you at least twice a semester to supplement your school’s advisement and who will also give you access to computers and equipment for copying and faxing. C. Duquesne University will provide you with ongoing access to higher education learning offerings including counseling, diagnostic testing, tutoring, and academic skill building programs designed by you and your advisor/learning coach. It will be reviewed every semester to insure that PA Acts properly implementing the agreement crafted by you and your coach.

  • L/C Commitment (a) Subject to the terms and conditions hereof, the Issuing Lender, in reliance on the agreements of the other Lenders set forth in Section 3.4(a), agrees to issue letters of credit (“Letters of Credit”) for the account of the Borrower on any Business Day during the Revolving Commitment Period in such form as may be approved from time to time by the Issuing Lender; provided that the Issuing Lender shall have no obligation to issue any Letter of Credit if, after giving effect to such issuance, (i) the L/C Obligations would exceed the L/C Commitment or (ii) the aggregate amount of the Available Revolving Commitments would be less than zero. Each Letter of Credit shall (i) be denominated in Dollars and (ii) expire no later than the earlier of (x) the first anniversary of its date of issuance and (y) the date that is five (5) Business Days prior to the Revolving Termination Date, provided that any Letter of Credit with a one-year term may provide for the renewal thereof for additional one-year periods (which shall in no event extend beyond the date referred to in clause (y) above). (b) The Issuing Lender shall not at any time be obligated to issue any Letter of Credit if (i) such issuance would conflict with, or cause the Issuing Lender or any L/C Participant to exceed any limits imposed by, any applicable Requirement of Law or (ii) any Lender is at that time a Defaulting Lender, unless the Issuing Lender has entered into arrangements, including the delivery of Cash Collateral, satisfactory to the Issuing Lender (in its sole discretion) with the Borrower or such Lender to eliminate the Issuing Lender’s actual or potential Fronting Exposure (after giving effect to Section 2.23(a)(iv)) with respect to the Defaulting Lender arising from either the Letter of Credit then proposed to be issued or that Letter of Credit and all other L/C Obligations as to which the Issuing Lender has actual or potential Fronting Exposure, as it may elect in its sole discretion.
