Common use of Acceptance of Appointment and Other Matters Relating to Servicers Clause in Contracts

Acceptance of Appointment and Other Matters Relating to Servicers. (a) In connection with and in consideration for the conveyance of the Receivables to the Trust by the Sellers, and the issuance of the Seller Certificate to the Sellers, Discover Bank on behalf of the Holder of the Seller Certificate and the Trustee agree to cause (i) Discover Bank to act as Servicer with respect to Discover Card Accounts under this Agreement and Discover Bank agrees to act as such Servicer under this Agreement and (ii) Discover Bank or an affiliate of Discover Bank to act as Servicer with respect to each type of account, other than Discover Card Accounts, which are designated as Additional Accounts pursuant to Section 2.10 and Discover Bank or such affiliate of Discover Bank shall agree to act as such Servicer under this Agreement, pursuant to the Assignment of Additional Accounts with respect to such Accounts.

(a) In connection with and in consideration for the conveyance of the Receivables to the Trust by the SellersTransferor, and the issuance of the Seller Transferor Certificate to the SellersTransferor, Discover Bank on behalf of Funding as the Holder of the Seller Transferor Certificate and the Trustee agree to cause (i) Discover Bank to act as Servicer with respect to Discover Card Accounts under this Agreement and Discover Bank agrees to act as such Servicer under this Agreement and (ii) Discover Bank or an affiliate of Discover Bank to act as Servicer with respect to each type of account, other than Discover Card Accounts, which are designated as Additional Accounts pursuant to Section 2.10 and Discover Bank or such affiliate of Discover Bank shall agree to act as such Servicer under this Agreement, pursuant to the Assignment of Additional Accounts with respect to such Accounts.
