Common use of Acceptance of Service of Process Clause in Contracts

Acceptance of Service of Process. (i) In the event that any legal action is commenced by the Developer against the City, service of process on the City shall be made by personal service upon the City Clerk or in such other manner as may be provided by law. (ii) In the event that any legal action is commenced by the City against the Developer, service of process on the Developer or Agent shall be made by personal service upon an officer or agent of the Developer or Agent and shall be valid whether made within or without the State of Kansas or in such other manner as may be provided by law.

Acceptance of Service of Process. (ia) In the event that any legal action is commenced by the Developer against the City, service of process on the City shall be made by personal service upon the City Clerk or in such other manner as may be provided by law.
