Common use of Acceptance of Service of Process Clause in Contracts

Acceptance of Service of Process. In the event that any legal action is commenced by Developer against City, service of process on City shall be made by personal service upon the City Clerk of City or in such other manner as may be provided by law. In the event that any legal action is commenced by City against Developer, service of process on Developer shall be made by personal service upon W-K Ventures, Inc., a California corporation, Developer’s registered agent for service of process in California, at 000 Xxxxxxx'x Xxxxxx Xxxxxxxxx, 0xx Xxxxx, Xxx Xxxxx, XX 00000 or in such other manner as may be provided by law.

Acceptance of Service of Process. In the event that any legal action is commenced by Developer against the City, service of process on the City shall be made by personal service upon the City Clerk of City Manager or in such other manner as may be provided by law. In the event that any legal action is commenced by City against Developerthe Participant, service of process on Developer the Participant shall be made by personal service upon W-K Ventures, Inc., a California corporation, Developer’s registered agent for service of process in California, at 000 Xxxxxxx'x Xxxxxx Xxxxxxxxx, 0xx Xxxxx, Xxx Xxxxx, XX 00000 or in such other manner as may be provided by lawlaw and shall be effective whether served inside or outside of California.

In the event that If any legal action is commenced by the City or Agency against the Developer, service of process on the Developer shall be made by personal service upon W-K Venturesboth of the entities identified as joint venture members of the Developer, Inc., a California corporation, Developer’s registered agent for service of process in California, at 000 Xxxxxxx'x Xxxxxx Xxxxxxxxx, 0xx Xxxxx, Xxx Xxxxx, XX 00000 or in such other manner as may be provided by law, whether made within or without the State of California.
